Good advice for Men to read and women to enjoy.

    Women are complicated creatures, so we are led to believe. I should know as I am one of them! Men often want to know what women really want and although a good man is always eager to please, it's not always that easy to fathom out exactly what it is that we are after.

    The important thing to take into account is that when we were little girls, we loved to read fairytales and were brought up with the belief that life was really going to end up happily ever after - or at least fairly happy.

    One of the problems men face as a result of this is the woman's desire for them to act exactly according to the book of dreams and fairy tales because although we are now grown adults, the child inside is still looking for the perfect ending. Heck, a lot of us are searching for the perfect beginning or a pretty cool middle section!

    In fairytales, no-one ever told the prince what to do to win the heart of the princess, men in fiction always know what to do and how to act in order to get the girl! In the real world however, life is not as straight forward and this article is designed to give the men who read it a few ideas on how to add some romance into their relationship and make their woman smile!

    Ten little ideas that can make a big difference

    * Think of Sleeping Beauty and wake her up with breakfast or a cup of tea in bed
    * Write some cute little messages and leave them around the house for her to find. You can be creative about where you put them - her make-up bag, her underwear drawer or even in her cereal box! Doing this when you are going out of town is a really nice idea because she will just  keep finding them and never know where the next one might be!
    * Buy her a bunch of flowers just because she likes them - not because it's her birthday, Valentine's Day or you have done something wrong!
    * Cook her meal and insist that she puts her feet up and leaves you to it!
    * Run her a bath with some gorgeous bubbles, light some candles and then ask if she'd like you to scrub her back!
    * Take her to the movies once a month and let it be her choice of film
    * Offer to do the shopping - you may need a list but offering is enough to surprise her - believe me!
    * Write her a letter with your memories of how you met, tell her why you love her so much and post it! It will be a great surprise amongst the bills!
    * Tell her you are going to see your parents and then take her for a day out to the zoo/theme park/funfair instead. If she asks why you aren't going  the usual route to your parents then tell her you got lost!
    * Find a nice photograph of the two of you and frame it. Put it up and see if she notices!

    I think men often worry if they haven't got much money to spend on their girlfriend or wife but when it comes down to it, the best relationships are the ones that include the little incidental acts of kindness and love. Grand gestures may be exciting and of course we appreciate them but it's the small and thoughtful actions that bind and hold your relationship together.
